Hispanic Education & Outreach

The rapid growth of the Latino population across the U.S. has energized educational institutions and community organizations to adapt to the needs and interests of Hispanic Americans. Ways are being developed to help school systems and teachers adapt to changing face of their classrooms.  Often Latinos represent a new audience for non-profit programs as well. Organizations are looking for new approaches to recruitment and program development that reflect the cultural traditions, beliefs, and values of Latinos. Spanish language expertise and CD&A's broad experience with multicultural education, community development, and program evaluation qualify us to help organizations that are working to integrate Latino community members into their community and educational programs.

  • Girl Scouts of the USA – Evaluation of the Girl Scouts' project to serve Hispanic girls and families in five rural areas of Georgia and in one area of Metro Atlanta, with a first year focus on community cultivation and capacity building.
(Above projects are all funded by the Goizueta Foundation).
