International Education
The educational concerns of public institutions and other government
agencies, foundations, and businesses, have by necessity become
more international in scope. New approaches are needed to address
the broader learning requirements of organizations involved with
the worldwide community. CD&A brings our experience with international
and multicultural education to help our clients meet these educational
needs. In addition to our evaluation and research services, we offer
Spanish language expertise and we are certified to administer and
interpret the Intercultural Development Inventory (IDI).
Fund for the Improvement of Post-Secondary Education (FIPSE) – Formative and summative evaluation of several international
exchange programs funded through the North American Mobility Program;
the U.S.- European Consortium in Higher Education program; and the
U.S.- Brazil Consortium in Higher Education program. Evaluation
efforts focus on determining outcomes of study abroad for students,
faculty, and institutions.
American Council on Education – Evaluation
of the FIPSE-funded project “Lessons Learned in Assessing
International Education.” Six partner institutions are seeking
to measure the development of global competence in college students
using a mixed-method approach. Evaluation focuses on the extent
to which the project goals and objectives are achieved.
Dekalb County School District – Evaluation
of a 3-year Counseling Demonstration Grant focused on addressing
the special needs of immigrant and refugee students and their families
in five Atlanta elementary schools.
